Difference
from Duraland® |
|
How
is Duong Dat Do® different from
Duraland®? |
Duong Dat Do physically
binds and adheres land particles and aggregate together
. When applied topically or mixed into the
land, it forms a hardened crust which is
effective for both dust control and
stabilization. Duong Dat Do is a concentrate
and must be diluted with water prior to application and requires
time to cure.
**For topical
only applications on traffic areas (unpaved roads) Duong
Dat Do
requires that
the area be compacted, crowned
and be free
from loose gravel and debris in order to be highly effective.
Duraland,
is not a land stabilizer and does NOT
form
a crust . It is only used
for dust control. Duraland
coats the fine particulates to prevent them from becoming
suspended
into the air.
Duraland is
applied "As Is" (no dilution) and is engineered
to never cure. Duraland is primarily used on traffic areas
where site
preparation
is not
an option and requires Duraland's
unique "self-healing" properties. |
|
Longevity |
How long will the product last? |
Typical topical
applications are designed to last approximately 12-24 months
before needing maintenance.
Typical processed/mixed-in
applications are designed to last several years or more when
maintained topically.
Specific life-spans
can be customized by different application rates from months
to years.
|
Maintenance |
How much material should I use for a
topical maintenance coat? |
We recommend using
approximately 30% of the initial topical application volume
used to treat the area.
Duong Dat Do is engineered
to provide a cumulative effect with additional maintenance
coats over time. Therefore, the time interval between coats
will significantly increase over time.
If the treatment
area has been disturbed or allowed to deteriorate, the amount
will be nearly as much as the initial application. Therefore,
it is important to monitor the area and time between maintenance
carefully.
